Sonic and the Black Knight was released in 2009 for the Nintendo Wii. It is the second game in the Sonic Storybook series. The first of which is Sonic and the Secret Rings. In this game, Sonic is summoned to the world of King Arthur by Merlin’s granddaughter, Merlina. The world’s fastest hedgehog must learn swordplay to free Authur’s world from evil and save King Authur, who was possessed by the scabbard of Excalibur and transformed into the Black Knight. Different characters from the Sonic universe play roles in The Black Knight. Tails plays the local Blacksmith, Knuckles plays Sir Gawain, Amy plays The Lady of the Lake, Shadow plays Sir Lancelot, Blaze plays Sir Percival, Silver plays Sir Galahad and Jet the Hawk plays Sir Lamorak. The game also features a 4-player battle mode in which you can play as various characters.
